About Us
Voice of Experience
Backed by almost 40 years of industry experience
When Tim lynch began working at Lawrence Park Apothecary in 1984, he saw the demand for Durable Medical Equipment (DME). So, with the blessing of his boss, Jim Rovegno, RPh, Tim earned certifications that enabled the Apothecary to enter the DME business, serving customers throughout the community.
After 14 years, with Tim as general manager, Mr. Rovegno decided to sell his store. So, in September 1996, Tim set out on his own, establishing Lynch Home Medical Supply at 4307 Buffalo Road in Harborcreek. For months, his only employee was his mother, Margaret Lynch, who asked only for a burger and a cup of coffee for compensation.
Tim recalls their opening day's only sale: a 50-cent cane tip. But with hope and prayer, he and his wife, Norma, looked forward to a bright future, building on past and new relationships. Eventually the business outgrew the location, and Lynch Home Medical Supply moved to its current location over the July 4th weekend of 2000- brining Tim back to his roots at 4020 Main Street in Lawrence Park.
The kindness and compassion that were the hallmark of
Lawrence Park Apothecary continued with Lynch Home Medical
Supply as it grew and expanded on the family's principles: to share knowledge, to help people with special needs, and to help caregivers feel more comfortable with their responsibilities.
As Tim, Norma, their sons Joseph and Matthew, and the staff celebrate over a quarter century in business, they pledge to give customers old-fashioned service, up-to-date reliable equipment, and to be there when you need them most.
They thank their loyal customers and look forwards to serving you for years to come.
